CULTURE OF PEACE
What is peace ? Peace is a state of well-being, tranquility, stability and security, which is opposite to war and has a positive connotation. It is a state of harmony that is free from wars, conflicts and setbacks. Peace is a universally desirable quality, it is valued by all societies and cultures, at the level of States and countries and also in homes, in interpersonal relationships and within each individual. How do we live peace ? Living in peace involves practicing empathy, resolving conflicts peacefully, promoting social justice, fostering tolerance and respect, participating in community activities, educating about peace, and promoting environmental sustainability. In itself, it involves cultivating harmonious relationships and contributing to the construction of peaceful and equitable communities and societies.
